Tacos and type--what better combination could there be? I loved eating a delicious and smelly* Lloyd's taco--tailgate-style--from the back of my ~~large~~ Scion xA last night before heading into the traveling t ype truck that was parked outside of WNYBAC last night, to pull my.very.own.print:

Maybe the only better combination is resting my freshly inked print near my newly purchased night light and my marble paper towel stand.
*smelly only because the delicious smell lingered and after one is full the smell of delicious food is "smelly"

We went straight to the store when we arrived. We decided upon a bag of salt and vinegar chips.

We returned the books. We put them in the assistant's office. Being there again I became sad at the memory of all the hours I spent there that were now gone. I remembered that only one year ago I was practically living there. The office is getting more and more cluttered. We stood in the office for a while. I was feeling bad about not leaving a thank you note.

A platinum blond, very sullen looking Layla greeted us with a dead blank stare and barely a "hello." James was there too from Petersborough. Apparently (I know this from Maxine) he recently left his wife and is thinking about returning to law school. Last night he told me he applied at University of Virginia-Arlington. I was reminded that he and Maxine and I ate some really great Vietnamese food one night a few years ago.

The main reason for this gossip column is to tell you about Fred's girlfriend, whom he introduced to me as such. Her name is Lori and at first glance she's definitely attractive but Colin described her as a "fake trophy girlfriend." There is something quirky, sort of cool-but-quirky, sort of odd about her. She is absolutely more outgoing than Cindy was, for sure.

Anyway Carl was there. I talked to Kim Kelly. Elisha was there and super weird. Apparently she's moving to Riceton, VA to live in her sister's empty house. She and Max won't live together because her family would disown her. Kim and Scott bought a house near Dan and Max moved in with them.

Steve and Maxine were there. Steve was cute; he asked about you and was telling me about teaching and stuff. I drank a lot of sparkling water. I saw Carl; he's teaching 2 classes at UV-A. I asked him if he sees Trent and he said that Trent is having a hard time teaching advanced classes. (Trent wasn't there.)

Then we went over to Emporium Villa where they were having a trinket sale. Rochelle had a table, Karla and Dan shared a table. (Uri was there; Colin got to meet him finally.) Ashley had a table. Apparently Paul is declaring that SinCity can no longer be called "sincity" but "Singular Cityscape". In fact, it was told to me that he answers the phone: "Hello, The Center.." and Steve said, "Yeah, the CENTER of the universe!"

Colin and I ate at the pizza place. I thought of you.

Jordan told me he thinks his presence will turn up the heat on the bus trip. Karl and Evelyn inherited a descent sum from Evelyn's parents. From the way her parents lived, you would never have known they were millionaires.

Hank had a stone whiz by his head while he was eating his lunch inside. An ambulance appeared for the man downstairs. Frank was given a zune for father's day.

I have discovered that sixty two cent stamps have dragonflies on them. Robin's papers smelled like smoke. Mary was upset because the Gap wouldn't hire her. She wants to play rugby in Canada on Tuesday and Thursdays.

Table number 10 ordered two orders of two scoops of tuna salad on greens and two coffees. Emily wore silver, hoop earring to her fiance's show. Brian had dirt under his nails while he was teaching us how to use the camera. Karmen wore too-tight of a dress two days ago.

my friends! no one reads this blog except my friends. well, i'm in washington dc, the capitol of the united states. it's so lovely here. i've been drinking some liquid beverages, oh yes:

after a delicious lunch made by mom, we were delivered to the doorstep of the buffalo niagara airport. by 7pm we were on the plane. by 10:30 we were in a 50 degree evening that felt like a buffalo summer night except warmer. we chose an electric blue focus for our ride and checked into our hotel. cozy. no frills. attempting hip. one block from the water. starving, we were directed to howleys. yum and funny.* sleeping by 2am. woke up took a run near the water and got a little lost. made it back in time for some continental breakfast of yogurt, tea, english muffin, and apple. jesse is back to sleep now. and i am showered and ready to go. it's 70 and about to take a nap in the sun.

*not to sleep before stopping at the local 24-hour CVS where the top memorable things happened: 1. three boys walk in before us, one wearing only socks as footwear. 2. the overhead system pages, "customer service at the condom case" at which point one of said boys walks to that aisle. 2. a man in yellow shorts sitting and then kneeling in the shampoo aisle, very intent on researching. it's 1am. 3. not knowing the price of the tweezers we purchased, the CVS worker says, "I'll charge you $2.99. That will teach them to put the prices in the computer." Immediately after that, a child-like sounding alarms goes off.
